Diaz (hamstring) began a rehab assignment with the Orioles' FCL affiliate Friday, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

Diaz has been out over a month with a strained right hamstring. He recorded a strong .327/.424/.510 line in 14 games for Triple-A Norfolk prior to the injury, so the Orioles will be hoping he can get back to that level of performance upon his return to game action.
