The Rangers sent Sborz (ankle) to Triple-A Round Rock on an injury rehabilitation assignment Sunday.

Sborz is currently on the 15-day injured list with a sprained ankle. The right-hander will likely make a few appearances with the Express before having a chance to rejoin the Rangers bullpen over the weekend. Once activated, he'll likely operate in the middle innings for Texas.
