Winder (shoulder) will begin a rehab assignment with Single-A Fort Myers on Friday, Brandon Warne of Access Twins reports.

Winder began spring training with soreness in his right shoulder, but was able to throw 2.2 innings toward the end of camp. It's unclear how many rehab outings the 26-year-old righty will play in the minors before rejoining the Twins, but his time on the 15-day IL seems to be nearing an end.
