Shaw (shoulder) will begin on-field batting practice Tuesday, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

A dislocated shoulder has kept Shaw sidelined since early June. If his shoulder responds well to batting practice, he'll advance to a rehab assignment with Triple-A Nashville soon after, though he won't be eligible to return to big-league action until Aug. 9, as he's been placed on the 60-day injured list.
