With regular second baseman Ryan Goins struggling at the plate and Barney hitting .310 in the early going, it looks as though Toronto will deploy a platoon at the keystone. Barney is getting the start Tuesday with lefty Martin Perez on the hill, but it remains to be seen what will happen when Devon Travis (shoulder) returns -- which is expected to happen later in the month.
