Baker will start Sunday's game against the Royals. With Derek Holland and Yu Darvish both taking longer to return to the mound than expected, the Rangers will essentially wave the white flag Sunday. Baker has a woeful 6.97 ERA in 20.2 innings as a starter this season, and there's no reason to expect him to be any more effective on Sunday.
