Baker turned in a solid 6.1 innings Friday night, limiting the Astros to two earned runs on six hits and a walk while striking out three in a winning effort. Make it back-to-back strong outings for Baker, as the veteran right-hander has allowed just three earned runs and posted a 1.15 WHIP across 11.1 innings during his last two starts. Though he has pitched well enough to earn at least one more round in the rotation, Baker is likely headed back to the Rangers' bullpen with the impending return of Derek Holland (knee) on Tuesday.
