Baker signed a minor league contract with the Yankees on Friday that includes an invite to spring training, Matt Eddy of Baseball America reports. The long ball once again haunted Baker last season, as he gave up a whopping 15 home runs in just 80.2 innings with the Rangers. Baker did trim his walk rate to a career-best 1.6 BB/9, but his flyball tendencies (45.6% career FB%) make it unlikely he'll find much success in Yankee Stadium, if he even gets a chance.
