It was Bailey's first action since undergoing shoulder surgery in July of 2013 as he'll try to earn a roster spot in the bullpen for Opening Day. The 30-year-old remains optimistic that he'll make the big league team, but he'll likely have to prove himself in live spring action first. The plan is to pitch in another simulated game Saturday before making a Grapefruit League appearance.
