The Mariners signed Lawrence to a minor-league contract Wednesday.

Lawrence went from the Mariners to the Blue Jays via waivers in late April. After being removed from Toronto's 40-man roster and electing free agency, he's now returned to Seattle on a minor-league pact. The veteran righty will provide swingman depth at Triple-A Tacoma.
