Shaw signed a minor-league contract Friday with the White Sox, James Fegan of The Athletic reports.

Shaw was released by the White Sox in late March after failing to claim a spot on the Opening Day roster, but he'll get another shot with the organization after going unsigned for a full month. The veteran reliever will first head to the club's spring training complex in Arizona before eventually joining up with Triple-A Charlotte.
