The Royals recalled Eaton from Triple-A Omaha on Friday, Jaylon T. Thompson of The Kansas City Star reports.

Eaton was optioned to Omaha last week, but he will return to the majors as Matt Beaty lands on the 7-day concussion IL. Eaton has just three hits in 52 at-bats this season and will presumably serve as a bench piece while in Kansas City.
