Palacios (hand) has gone 3-for-12 with three runs scored since returning from the 7-day injured list and rejoining the Triple-A Buffalo lineup Friday.

Palacios was on the shelf for nearly three months with the hand injury before beginning a rehab assignment in the lower levels of the minors Aug. 5. After checking out fine over his three rehab games, Palacios was activated from the IL ahead of Buffalo's weekend series with Rochester. The 26-year-old outfielder will look to put together a string of quality games at Buffalo over the next two weeks to build his case for a September call-up to the Blue Jays.
