Aviles will be counted on to give the Tigers more versatility off the bench this season. He can play second, third and shortstop, plus all three outfield spots.

The right-handed hitter hit .242 against lefties and .219 against righties last season, so his value in most formats is sorely limited. But Aviles' super-utility skills will make him extremely valuable between the chalk lines.
