Avila went 4-for-5 without an RBI or run despite the White Sox scoring seven times in Thursday's 8-7 loss to Boston.
EDGE Analysis
Well, that's an unusual batting line. It's too bad for Avila, too, as the four-hit day was huge for him -- he'd gone hitless in four straight games and entered Thursday's action batting just .211. Once one of the more promising young offensive catchers in the majors, Avila's offense has declined to the point that he's hard to own even in two-catcher leagues.
