Avila (head) remains out of the lineup Thursday against the Indians. Since the Tigers have not classified Avila's injury as a concussion, it would seem they are just being cautious with the 27-year-old, which is certainly understandable given his history of concussion issues. Bryan Holaday will once again man the backstop in his stead Thursday. While Avila said he felt fine after taking a foul ball off his face mask during Tuesday's game, he did admit to experiencing some dizziness prior to exiting.
