Avila (head) is back in the lineup Sunday against the Giants. Avila hadn't played in a game since Tuesday because of lingering side effects of taking a foul ball off his facemask. He did pinch hit Saturday and apparently felt fine after the game, and his back behind the plate for the Tigers Sunday.
