Athletics signed INF Scott Moore to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training. Moore was outrighted off the Astros' 40-man roster earlier this month after batting just .259 with a .330 on-base percentage across 228 plate appearances in 2012. He's doubtful to make a big impact for Oakland.
