Athletics recalled INF Jemile Weeks from Triple-A Sacramento. The 26-year-old former top prospect was hitting .271/.376/.369 with four homers, 40 RBI and 17 stolen bases in 130 games at Triple-A. He's split his time there between shortstop, second base and the outfield, and is likely to be used in a utility role with the A's.
