Athletics recalled C Stephen Vogt from Triple-A Sacramento. Vogt gets the call after mashing Triple-A pitching with a .364/.412/.602 batting line, three homers and 19 RBI over 21 contests. He'll serve as a third catcher but can also play some outfield and could see time in the DH spot.
