Athletics purchased the contract of RHP Dan Otero from Triple-A Sacramento. No word yet on the corresponding roster move. Otero, 28, owns a solid 0.99 ERA and 22/1 K/BB ratio in 27 1/3 innings across 23 appearances this season in Triple-A. He figures to pitch in middle relief.
