Athletics placed INF Scott Sizemore on the 15-day disabled list with a sprained left knee. Sizemore suffered the injury during Tuesday's game against the Angels and could be out for several weeks. Eric Sogard will serve as the A's primary second baseman. Andy Parrino has been called up from Triple-A.
