Athletics placed 3B Scott Sizemore (torn ACL) on the 60-Day disabled list. The move clears a spot on the 40-man roster for Yoenis Cespedes, who officially agreed to terms with the Athletics on Saturday. Sizemore had previously been ruled out for the 2012 season and is set to undergo surgery in 2-3 weeks. Josh Donaldson replaces him in the lineup.
