Athletics exercised OF Coco Crisp's $7.5 million option for 2014. It was a formality after Crisp posted his first ever 20/20 season and then batted .389/.455/.611 in the ALDS. Crisp's agent, Steve Comte, has spoken to the A's about a long-term deal, though it's not clear if there's any momentum toward an agreement.
