Athletics exercised LHP Brett Anderson's $8 million option for 2014. Anderson posted a 6.04 ERA over another injury-plagued 2013 campaign, but his upside makes him worthy of an $8 million gamble. There's been some speculation that the A's could trade him, but he'll be part of someone's rotation in 2014.
