Astros signed C Jason Jaramillo to a minor league contract. Jaramillo failed to appear in the majors last season and batted just .221/.302/.289 in 75 games at Triple-A Nashville. He'll serve as an emergency catcher with the Astros behind Juan Castro, Carlos Corporan, and Chris Stewart.
