Astros signed 1B Jon Singleton to a five-year, $10 million contract extension. The deal also includes three club options and can be worth up to $35 million if all the options and incentives are triggered. It's a nice safety net for Singleton, but it will wind up being an extremely club-friendly deal if he comes anywhere close to reaching his ceiling. Singleton will make his major league debut on Tuesday.
