Astros prospect first baseman Jonathan Singleton is hitting .263/.417/.526 through five games in his return to Triple-A. Singleton had a lost season in 2013, struggling to a .230/.351/.401 line after missing the first 50 games after a second positive test for a "drug of abuse". He looked better in spring training, and could be called up to Houston before the all-star break. He could be an impact player, hitting .280 with 20+ home runs and lots of walks. Monitor his performance closely, as he will push Mark Krauss out of the way when he is ready.
