Astros optioned 1B Jonathan Singleton to Triple-A Oklahoma City. Singleton never had a great shot at cracking the Astros' Opening Day roster and batted just .154 this spring in the Grapefruit League. The 22-year-old should make his major league debut at some point this summer and is still in the plans as Houston's long-term first baseman.
