Astros manager Bo Porter said that Dexter Fowler (intercostal) will not be activated from the disabled list Friday. The hope was that Fowler would be activated for the start of the second half, but Porter said that he's "not ready to play." Still, he called it a "day-to-day" situation, so it sounds like his return isn't far off.
