The Oakland Athletics reinstated catcher Stephen Vogt (knee) from the injured list on Tuesday and called up infielder Matt Davidson from Triple-A Las Vegas. In corresponding moves, Sheldon Neuse was optioned to the minors and reliever Parker Markel was designated for assignment. Vogt was out with a sprained right knee since late April, and he went 1-for-14 with a solo home run in six games before his injury.
