A's manager Bob Melvin said he is hopeful Vogt (ankle) will be available for the team's final homestand, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports. A return for this weekend's series in Seattle has been ruled out, but it sounds like Vogt has a chance to play to play at some point next week. However, the homestand runs through Sept. 24 and Melvin did not specify a date, so he may not return until the final week of the season. Thus, Vogt makes for a difficult hold in most fantasy leagues.
