Bloss has joined Triple-A Buffalo and is slated to start Saturday, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Bloss was acquired from the Astros at the trade deadline as a part of the return package for left-hander Yusei Kikuchi and will now make his first start with Triple-A Buffalo. The 23-year-old made three starts with Houston, giving up nine runs over 11.2 innings while striking out 11 batters. General manager Ross Atkins said following the deadline last week that Bloss will get some run at Triple-A before joining the major-league rotation later this season.
