Davis landed on the 10-day injured list with an undisclosed issue in early July and remains on the list even though he's been cleared to link up with his teammates. It's not clear whether he'll have time to get in game shape by Opening, though he's buried down the outfield depth chart and isn't likely to fill a significant role even when healthy.
