Aoki went 2-for-4 with two runs scored and a stolen base while leading off for the Giants on Monday. There had been a lot of lineup shuffling in the outfield since Hunter Pence returned May 16. However, it appears manager Bruce Bochy has finally settled on a permanent lineup over the past five games. After losing playing time to Justin Maxwell and Gregor Blanco, Aoki has apparently won the starting left field job and leadoff spot in the lineup. He will likely still sit against lefties occasionally, but this is a definite boost for his already solid value.
