Paddack (oblique) is scheduled to throw another bullpen session Monday before the Padres determine his next step in the recovery process, Kevin Acee of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

EDGE Analysis

If all goes well Monday, Paddack will most likely get the green light to face hitters later in the week, but the Padres don't appear to be counting on him returning from the 10-day injured list until the final week of August or first week of September in a best-case scenario. Paddack's last appearance for San Diego came on July 27 before he was shut down with the left oblique strain.
