Angels signed RHP Jered Weaver to a five-year, $85 million extension. He also received a full no-trade clause. The deal takes care of his final year of arbitration and first four years of free agency. It averages $17 million a season, making Weaver the eighth highest-paid pitcher per year in the majors.
