Angels signed LHP Dustin Richardson to a minor league contract; assigned him to Triple-A Salt Lake. Richardson hasn't appeared in a major league game since 2010, when he posted a 4.15 ERA in 26 relief appearances for the Red Sox. He spent part of the 2013 season with the independent-league Sugar Land Skeeters.
