Angels signed 3B Ian Stewart to a minor league contract. The deal includes an invitation to spring training. The 29-year-old has struggled to produce at the major league level, last appearing with the Cubs in 2012. He owns a .232/.319/.417 career line and will look to catch on as bench depth with the Halos.
