Angels recalled RHP Matt Shoemaker from Triple-A Salt Lake. Shoemaker will start for the Angels on Thursday. He owns a 3.18 ERA and 1.15 WHIP in 22 2/3 innings with the big club this season. He takes the roster spot of Sean Burnett.
