Angels purchased the contract of OF Ryan Langerhans from Triple-A Salt Lake. He's taking the spot of Torii Hunter, who has been placed on the restricted list. A good defensive outfielder, Langerhans was off to a nice start with Salt Lake, batting .274/.430/.462 with five homers. He doesn't figure to play much.
