Angels purchased the contract of 3B Luis Jimenez from Double-A Arkansas. Jimenez, 23, batted .290/.335/.486 with 18 home runs, 94 RBI and an .821 OPS over 541 plate appearances at the Double-A level this season. He hasn't drawn many walks in the minors, but could have a future with the big club.
