Angels manager Mike Scioscia said Sunday that Josh Hamilton (calf) has "made a lot of progress the last couple days." Hamilton strained his left calf last Tuesday but has apparently made some nice progress recently. Still, the Halos are expected to keep him on the shelf until mid-March. Barring a setback, the outfielder will still have enough time to get ready for Opening Day.
