Angels manager Mike Scioscia said Jered Weaver (elbow) is more than two weeks away from rejoining the rotation. Weaver on Thursday with throw his first bullpen session since fracturing his non-pitching elbow. He needs to build up his innings, though, and will be sent to extended spring training and on a rehab assignment before returning. The right-hander should be back in a big league uniform by the end of the month.
