The Los Angeles Angels have not begun formal talks with star outfielder Mike Trout on a contract extension, but it remains a priority, according to Angels owner Arte Moreno. Trout is under team control through the 2020 season and will make roughly $34 million in each of the next two seasons, part of the six-year, $144 million dollar extension he signed in 2014. Trout remains the most elite fantasy producer in baseball, hitting .312 with 39 home runs and 24 stolen bases last season.
