Angels designated 3B Ian Stewart for assignment. The move was made to clear a spot on the 40-man roster for the newly-acquired Huston Street. The 29-year-old slugger hit just .176/.222/.382 with two homers and seven RBI in his 68 at-bats with the Angels this season.
