Angels acquired RHP Cory Rasmus from the Braves for LHP Scott Downs. Rasmus was the 38th overall pick in the 2006 MLB Amateur Draft and has posted some promising numbers as a reliever in the minor leagues. Cory is the younger brother of Blue Jays center fielder Colby Rasmus.
