Andy Martino of the New York Daily News was told by a Mets source that the team projects Justin Turner to make under $1 million in his first year of arbitration. There's no guarantee that Turner will be back with the Mets next year, but the team doesn't see his projected salary as an overpay. The 28-year-old batted .280/.319/.385 with two homers and 16 RBI over 214 plate appearances this season while making starts at all four infield positions.
