Andy Martino of the New York Daily News reports that the Mets have made David Wright a seven-year offer "well in excess of $100 million." This is quite a different perspective than Ken Rosenthal's reported offer of six years and $100 million, but such is life during the Hot Stove. Negotiations are ongoing and it's not clear whether a deal is imminent. Recent reports have indicated that Wright wants a seven-year deal in the range of $125 million.
