Andriese won't start Friday's game against the Marlins, Roger Mooney of the Tampa Tribune reports. Andriese was expected to be one of two candidates (along with Erasmo Ramirez) to take a turn in the rotation Friday, but the Rays have decided to turn to the bullpen in Steve Geltz instead. With a relief pitcher starting the game, it's possible Andriese will make an appearance Friday, but it would be out of the bullpen if it occurs.
